The brief
Adega de Silgueiros needed to produce a label for a commemorative sparkling wine honouring its members.
The artwork was already defined. Our role was to identify a paper that supported its character and manage a production process capable of delivering the contrast, texture and detail the design required.
The material
We recommended Jade Raster, a textured paper that gives the label a more tactile and substantial presence while providing the right surface for the selected finishes.
The paper became part of the result, adding physical depth without competing with the supplied artwork.
The production
The labels were produced with foil stamping and raised Braille varnish, creating contrast between the metallic elements, the dark printed areas and the tactile surface.
Managing the registration and interaction between paper, print and finishing was essential to keeping the details precise across the full production run.
The finished work
The finished labels combine the existing artwork with a carefully selected material and controlled production process.
A good design still depends on what it is printed on, how it is finished and how consistently it is produced. That was our part.
